First thing I want to say is that I love my wife, Yasmine, so much and I greatly appreciate all that she does for me and the boys. Second, I want to give a shout out to all the single parents out there. I try to do as much as I can with the boys and provide moral support for Yasmine, but the reality is I can’t do much. So at the end of the day it’s like she is a single mother of 2 and a care giver. So part of my quad experience has kind of felt like I’m a camera that is filming an all access reality tv show about a single mother. It’s hard because I literally have to sit here and watch my wife do all these things that I would normally do or help do. Seeing my life in this way has given me not only a greater appreciation for my wife’s strength, but what it takes to be a mother and even more so a single parent.
S/N: It is extremely hard for me to live life as a bystander. I’m a doer, always have been and always will be. Seeing my wife doing “man stuff” and not being able to do for my boys drives me crazy!
I have to get better, I have to get stronger!
